The challenge

AB InBev were looking to consolidate their export market requirements, freeing them from the resources required to manage their smaller, yet important markets.

What we did

Developed an online platform and forecasting tool into which each market could input forecast volumes of a range of merchandise on an annual basis. Forecasts are collated annually and merchandise produced together achieving cost efficiencies. Marke forecasts, prebuys, warehouses and fulfils all merchandise for these markets – including glassware, POS, barware, apparel and other merchandise. Each country can then order items online as and when they require them.

The effects

Provided the same level of merchandise support as AB InBev’s main markets without needing additional internal resources. Smaller markets have access to items they wouldn’t be able to access individually due to minimum order quantities.
